The bad guys of Halo Infinite, banished, explained

As Harm Infinity leads the load for the Xbox Series X range, the next chapter of Master Chief adventures is somehow a back. The chef's armor is the classic Mjolnir, we fight on one of the holding apocalyptic devices, and the bad guys are, once again, the suitable. Except that 343 industries does not use the same pact of the classical trilogy of Bungie. On the contrary, this sect of extraterrestrial antagonists is the Banished, a branching resolutely more vicious and threatening religious fanatics who have embarked on the business during the war between men and the covers of the Halo de Bungie games.

This is the first appearance of the group, after having been presented for Halo Wars 2, and thanks to this game and some derivative reading elements, we already know enough about them and the type of threat they represent.

who are banished?

Essentially, bannis are a separatist group of former covenant soldiers who has become his own tremendous organization of mercenaries and looters who terrorize the galaxy. During the war between the humans and the Covenant, several JIRALHANAE - known as raw - have been frustrated by the increasing use of certain clans within the Covenant as a cannon flesh and formed a dissenting faction. Over time, which was initially a small group of soldiers who became small criminals turned into something much greater, under the vigilant eye of his chef, atrox.

A cunning military commander, the history of Atriox has been told in the Halo Wars 2 level "a new enemy". He explains that the ATRIOX clan was continually sent in the front line to die, and his anger in the face of the ill-treatment of his people has generated a fervent resentment with respect to the leaders of the Covenant. His superiors tried to execute him, but he managed to escape, inspiring several others to join him to get up against the alliance and the CNSU.

Atturox's ability to negotiate and convince others has been the key to bannis to become the widespread threat they currently represent. Over the years, he has managed to convince other murderers to become allies or to integrate entirely with banished. He trusted the highest grades of the Covenant's human worlds, creating a network of information and recruits. Banis as found in Halo Infinite have a robust selection of weapons, ammunition, vehicles and technologies, many of which are redesigned versions of Covenant. They also have the means to develop their own unggoy (Grunts), which gives them a long-standing source of infantry in addition to the force of the raw and others who volunteered for force.

What do the banned in Halo Infinite?

In halo infinite, banned banned took control of a new halo, the Zeta Halo. The Banis occupied the Ark for a while, in a continuous battle against the CSNU forces that finally led to the liberation of the deluge of the Covenant High Clarity city. Atriox and banished are heavy losses in the resulting battle, this is where Halo Wars 2 and his DLC had stopped.

Xbox One X Neverwinter loading times. Very fast! The details are limited on what drives and banned specifically consider doing with a halo, although inert, under their wing. Until now, the only objective of the group was the conquest and intimidation, inflating their ranks as they fear to the CNSU and the Covenant this unscrupulous third. Having a halo, they discovered how reactivate it would make them a dangerous enemy for anyone.

In a first teaser, it says that banished people want to "burn" humanity for a reason that has not yet been specified. The most frightening involvement is that there is no reason, other than simply burn everything and face the greatest opponent that this universe has to offer and see what happens. One thing is certain, treat bannis exactly as if they were the Covenant of yesteryear would be a mistake for Master Chief, and potentially fatal.
