Halo Infinite gets an Australian note and confirms 18 language
If there is one thing we can count in the game industry is that the Australian Classification Board will be severe enough with respect to the scoring and, on occasion, the prohibition of the Games. From the brief prohibition of Disco Elysium because of its representations of drug use, violence and crime at the recent prohibition of Devolver Digital Sludge Life for ... Note the games for themes and more mature contents. From now on, the next Halo Infinite has received an official note from the Board of Directors, as well as confirmation of the languages in which the game will be available.
Halo Infinite received a note M in Australia, and although the Australian Report Classification Board does not give us details on the content that justifies the note, we have a general idea of what to expect. Although there is apparently (fortunately) no nudity, sex or drug use in the game, there are three categories on which the Council has evaluated the game: themes, violence and language.
The notations of the Australian Classification Board operate on a scale based on their "impact", of no high impact. A note m is assigned if one of the categories reaches the "moderate impact" level, while "strong impact" gets a 15+ score with adult accompaniment and "high impact" gets a restricted note of 18+. Halo Infinite has, in a rather unexpected way, received a note M for moderate impact violence, themes and language achieving a moderate impact.
In addition to the evaluation, we have a confirmation of the languages in which Halo Infinite will be available: Arabic, Czech, Danish, Dutch, English, Finnish, French, German, Hebrew, Hungarian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Mandarin, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese and Swedish.
We have already seen a lot of Halo Infinite - a technical overview has been published, showing the character creation options and a bit of the gameplay that will be present in the multiplayer mode of the game. Halo Infinite should go out during the "holiday period 2021 "With speculation placing the launch in November to coincide with the 20th anniversary of Halo on November 15th.
