God of War Ragnarok: Goddess Hela appears in the story at what time?

God of War Ragnarök takes place in the Nordic world and contains several gods and giants of mythology. Goddess HEL (or Held) is an important piece in the puzzle of all the unfolding of the Nordic Stories and was well known in UCM, with the movie Thor: Ragnarök. But does she appear in the story of Atreus and Rates?

The story of the goddess Held

She is Loki's daughter with Anybody. We know that Loki is kind of God and Anybody is a giant, that is, the goddess Held would be more a giant than a goddess.

She is the queen of Kelham, the kingdom of the dead. Despite being considered a villain in many works, she is considered a very kind and just goddess with the dead and manages her kingdom very well.

Half of your body has the appearance of a goddess and the other half assume or a form of skeleton or cadaver. What can give an air of villain, but it is not so in mythology.

She is the younger sister of Henri, the great wolf and Jörmungund, the snake of the world. The three play a very important role in mythology and, especially in Ragnarök.

Goddess Held in God of War Ragnarök

Although we visit a few times Kelham and Anybody and Loki are present, as well as her two older others, the Queen of the Underworld does not appear in the game.

God

Held will probably be born in the future, and it is hard to say what the course of things will be. We know that the game has a time trip, so it's complicated to say where the goddess of the dead would be. Ultimately she was not even born.

Of course the game has artistic freedom to work on the characters and mythologies as well to understand. For example, Siegfried is also an important piece in Ragnarök, but does not appear in the game. After all, it can appear in future franchise games or even in other media, such as the God of War: Fallen God.

HEL's bird wants to retire

In the video above we see that Mimic promised something for Hraesvelgr, the giant bird that takes care of Kelham. She said she wants to retire and not be Held (HEL is a title of those who take care of Kelham).

That is, the game makes it clear that someone will take the place of the big bird and reign over the dead. Events are likely to make Held take this position.
