11 things to do after beating God of War Ragnarok (after the game/end of the game)

The fact that you have finished the story of God of War Ragnarök does not mean that you can leave control and move on to the next game... or worse, go out! No, there are still many things you can do in the nine kingdoms to help you reach that 100 % so important and get the platinum trophy. Then, without further ado, let's deepen what you and Rates can be doing in the different kingdoms.

_ Before continuing, keep in mind that this guide will contain some spoilers related to the narrative of god of War Ragnarok's, not explicitly within the copy, but the activities of the end of the game that are listed here can refer to some rhythms of the story that occur. However, we have tried to keep the things vague and free of spoilers the best we have been able to.

As soon as the credits have finished and return to Midgard to go from adventures in the post-game, you will be assigned a mission to track the remnants of Asgard. This often requires that you visit marked areas on your map, defeat the enemies there and take everything close.

It does not take long, nor is it so complicated to complete, but it gives it an additional incentive to move forward and explore the nine kingdoms.

Complete the challenges of Mülheim's melting

The challenges of Mülheim's crucible return to torment you at every moment of your life at God of War Ragnarök. These are the chests that have runes, and you will need to find the corresponding runes in your surroundings and turn on braziers, break the polishes of runes, touch Runes bells in rapid succession, travel several options to find the corresponding rune or detonate them all at the same time for Open the chest.

Scattered throughout the nine kingdoms, you will find tombstones that have a small hole. Use the hilt of the sword that you found in your adventures to interact with these and will summon a berserker who must be defeated in the battle.

These berserkers are incredibly strong, so make sure you are prepared for a long fight ahead. The best approach to overcome them is to take their time and not be too greedy when it comes to landing blows. Get some and then retain to prepare for the Berserker replica.

Complete favors for friends and allies

Depending on how much you have ventured out of the threshing roads before the end of the story, you may still have some favors to complete for the friends and allies of Rates and Women. For example, you will have to recover the mystical orb of Linda, return the (hammer) of the rebellion and complete all craters searches.

Ragnarök's secondary missions are actually some of the most interesting that you will find in any open world game, so we strongly recommend that you venture to complete them now. Especially if you are looking for more of that structured goodness in missions that provided you with the main story.

There are trophies for completing several of these, such as the ‘New Friends’ trophy to get the world of Linda and the ‘rebel leader’ for returning the (hammer) of the rebellion, so be sure to mark them if you are chasing it. Coveted platinum trophy.

Explore with the new Yggdrasil seeds of Rotator

Rotator is not only the best squirrel that has appeared in video games, but also has its uses when you finish the missions of the main story. Upon returning with him to the house of Sindhi, you can get access to new seeds of YGGDRASIL that will allow you to reach previously inaccessible areas of the different kingdoms.

Find the remaining collectibles

As expected, there are a lot of different collectibles to find distributed by the nine kingdoms of God of War Ragnarök. These are:

  • All the flowers of each of the nine kingdoms.
  • All the books.
  • All artifacts.
  • All Landwards.
  • All stages of the four stations.
  • All Odin Crows.

There is a variable amount of each of these collectibles. For example, there are only four deer and six Landwards, but nine flowers and a lot of books and artifacts. The easiest way to find them is to use the new Yggdrasil Seeds of Rotator to reach previously inaccessible areas of each kingdom and use the various skills you now have to thoroughly explore each world, one at the same time.

It could be said that this is the largest ‘mill’ in the post-game of God of War Ragnarök, but if you enjoy adventures in the nine kingdoms and want that platinum trophy, you will have to do it anyway!

It completely improves your weapons and armor

While this may not seem the most exciting, we recommend that you update the armor and weapons whenever I can, since it will make things like the challenges of Mülheim's crucible and face Berserker's fights are a little easier.

You will also need to completely update a set of armor for the ‘Ready Commitment’ trophy, so you are working to get the platinum trophy, you will have to do it anyway. Also, who does not want to see Rates wearing the best weapons and armor of the game?

Fight against RNA, Queen Valeria

What There is a new Valkyrie Queen in the city in God of War Ragnarök, and fighting it is one of the most difficult final activities that you can face in the game. Before undertaking this fight, we strongly recommend the following: Get as many Dunn Apple and Horns of Blood Mead as you can; Improve your weapons and armor as much as possible, and make sure you have maximized your runic attacks. RNA can be found hidden just east of the challenges of melting in Mülheim. As we point out above, RNA is the most difficult fight you will find in God of War Ragnarök, but the rewards for defeating it certainly are worth it. You will obtain a ton of XP, the queen's armor for Freya, the Runic Invocation of the Queen's roar and the Road of Obliteration for Rates. This will also give you the ‘The True Queen’ trophy, approaching one more step to platinum too!

Get the platinum trophy of God of War Ragnarök

With everything else in this list made and dusted, you will be more or less a few trophies to get the platinum trophy.

Things such as getting all shields, relics and sword handles may require that you look for some final chests, and you will also need to create the Dragon Scaled armor set and completely repair the amulet of Yggdrasil. It is possible that you have already marked some of these when completing and exploring the world after the game, but it is likely that these are the last ones that you will need to mark on your list.

Once the Platinum Trophy of God of War Ragnarök is all yours, you will have finished more or less everything to do in the game, at least until a possible New Game Plus mode falls.

Play in the difficulty Give Me God of War

Okay, then you have the platinum trophy of God of War Ragnarök, you found all the collectibles, you completed all the missions, and basically you have nothing left to do in your stored game.

You know what it means? It's time to start over, but in the exhausting difficulty ‘Give Me God of War’. This makes the fight incredibly challenging and can only be selected at the beginning of a new game. However, prepare for a serious challenge, since this really marks the enemies at 11 in terms of damage they will receive and damage they will inflict. You will have to be at your best if you have any possibility of surviving.
