The MLB the Show 22 update comes with some very necessary game changes

The sixth post-launch MLB The show 22 The update is available along with the patch notes that reveal and detail everything Sony San Diego has made to the Nintendo Switch game, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X and Xbox Game Pass. Unfortunately, the update has no new content, but it comes with some notable changes. For example, with updates, batters will have less fault coverage, which means more swing and future failures. Meanwhile, base runners will now advance a base when no one can catch the ball.

While we know everything that the update does, we do not have any information about the different file sizes for the update, which means that we cannot offer any idea of how long the discharge of the update will take.

Next, you can check the patch notes for itself, in its entirety, courtesy of Sony San Diego:

GENERAL GAME

  • The batters will have a little less foul coverage, which will result in more swing and failures.
  • A freezing was corrected that could occur in fault tips that bounced near the receiver.
  • Users are now limited to press R2 to see the types of tone once per tone, for up to three seconds.
  • The wind has been deactivated in the sets online.
  • A problem was solved that caused the "I can't launch" the icon to get stuck on the screen.
  • In the balls beaten in the air where the runners stop to see if they are falling or if they are trapped, instead of returning to the previous base, the runners will advance a base when the ball will clearly not be trapped by the gardener.
  • Adjustments were made in the timing of gestures for divisors and plumbs when the Pinpoint pitch is used. Divisores now have a more indulgent criterion for perfect releases, while the hunders now have a less indulgent criterion for perfect releases.

Dinasty of Diamond

  • A problem was solved that allowed a pitcher to enter a position player in the alignment.

Mini seasons

  • An error was corrected that caused the visiting team to always wear home uniforms.
