There are different controllers for the Nintendo Switch, with which you can set two players. Playing for two on a console succeeds either in table mode or in TV mode, but not as a handheld.

1. If a game is suitable for two or more players, you should first start the game via the Home menu.
2. Then you will be asked how many players you want to play. Once you have selected two players and confirmed with "OK", first press the right and left shoulder button simultaneously on Controller.
3. Confirm with the right one of the four buttons.
4. Then repeat the process with the second controller.
5. Depending on the game, Pro Controller or Joy Cons can be used.

If problems occur when the settings occur or the controllers do not connect to the desired order, there is another menu. To open this, act as follows:

1. Press the Home button to enter the Home menu.
2. Now open the menu "Controller".
3. Click "Change File / Order".
4. Then follow the instructions on the screen to set two players.
