President of NOA talks about drifting

Although Nintendo continues to face problems related to the infamous Drift in the Joy-with, the company is still performing a series of improvements. This is something that Doug Bowler, president of Nintendo of America, has made it clear in a recent interview.

In a talk with The Verge, Bowler was questioned about Nintendo s actions to improve the switch joy-with, to make the drift no longer so present in the controls. This was what he commented:

As we go through the first five and a half years of Nintendo Switch, we have observed the gameplay, we have observed that people have returned the units as worn and have carried out continuous improvements in general to the joy-with, including the Analog stick. This latest version, Nintendo Switch OLED, has the same updated analog lever that is now available at the original Nintendo Switch and the Nintendo Switch Lite.

Editor s note:

The problem of the drift is very, very annoying. Not only has you created a paranoia for users, but has forced more than one person to buy multiple controls. The solution would be to acquire a pro controller, and only use the joy-with portable mode.
