Surviving Mars: Below and Beyond
Paradox Interactive and Abstraction announced today Below & Beyond, the first premium enlargement for Surviving Mars since the release of Green Planet in May 2019. Surviving Mars: Below & Beyond will be on 7 September at a recommended sales price of 19.99 euros Steam, Gog, Epic, Humble, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One appear.
Below & Beyond improves the management of colonies by going out under the surface and over the horizon to build underground bases, reduce asteroids and collect rare resources.
The Reveal Trailer to Surviving Mars: Below & Beyond is here:
Below & Beyond shifts the limits of what was possible on the red planet so far. Players expand their horizon with additional buildings, more resources and a cobble world full of secrets. The players can trench tunnels under the surface and build underground bases under the colony or in nearby caves.
Darable players can attach buildings with rocket drive to flying asteroids and reduce exotic resources. But they have to do it back to the surface of the red planet before the asteroid leaves the orbit and lose her collected material and her colonists.
The most important contents of Surviving Mars: Below & Beyond at a glance:
- Underground bases: Players expand their colony in caves and lavagents below the earth's surface. Players can use existing structures or special underground buildings to build a basis for explorations. At expansion, caution is required, because possible collapse can destroy everything.
- Good Mine - Good game: Players can now go beyond the surface and over the red planet to reduce resources. You can build special rocket-powered buildings to reduce resources by passing asteroids, including exotic minerals and data samples. But beware: You should not stop there too long, otherwise the asteroid and equipment flies there!
- Extended possibilities: The reconnaissance and expansion research trees release additional buildings, vehicles, upgrades and locations. They also turn off the asteroid removal and the tunnel colonization.
Together with Below & Beyond, the Mars Lifestyle Radio Pack will appear. The package contains 16 music titles of four different artists and a total of 70 minutes chilly music. The Mars Lifestyle Radio Pack will be available for 3.99 euros in Steam, Gog, Playstation and Microsoft stores.
When we started planning for Surviving Mars, we really wanted to dive deep into the areas of the Red Planet, which we had not explored. We knew we had to start with full steam, and Surviving Mars: Below & Beyond expands the gameplay in a meaningful way, says Magnus Lysell, product manager for Surviving Mars at Paradox Interactive. The possibilities are endless and we look forward to exploring the red planet with our players.
