Stylish Shooter Severed Steel Announces Release Date

New Executions Are Very Punisher-Style - Warden Duels [For Honor] The elegant shooter Severed Steel recently announced his release date in a trailer of Gamescom. With fighting on the fly and fluid movements, the independent shooting game should certainly be on the radar list of any FPS fan.

If you have not tested the game yet, the shooting game essentially emulates an exaggerated action movie. Located in a magnificent minimalist world with neon lighting, you shoot, do Parkour and slow down your way to victory. Think about a crossing between Mirror's Edge and Superhot, with even more movements or waterfalls, added to your arsenal.

In combat, you can jump over the enemies, performing a dangerous jump to 180 degrees while pulling with your weapon. You can slide under a table, the whistling balls over your head. You can make your way up to a window, then plunge through to surprise the enemies on the other side. When all are chained, the game promises an incredibly fluid experience that puts you in the skin of an action film hero.

If one of the above descriptions you are interested in, you will be happy to hear that the recent trailer of Gamescom places the release date on September 17 this year. In addition, the trailer teases certain purely mural parkour sections, it is possible that some levels contain Parkour-Shooter mashups as in the Titanfall 2 campaign.

If you want to take a step ahead of Severed Steel, you can try the free demo on Steam today. Unfortunately, as the recent beta version of the game is over, you will have to wait for the full exit of the game to try some of the other features, like the map editor.
