Karlsruher SC Holt Kilian Jakob from FC Augsburg

As the Baden announced on Tuesday morning, Kilian Jakob signed a contract for two years at the KSC. The obligation is a response to the transfer of Dirk Carlson to Erzgebirge Aue, who had already gone on the stage beginning of July. After the departure of Dirk Carlson, we have necessarily used someone on this position, explains Oliver Kreuzer, Karlsruhes Managing Director Sport.

Jakob comes from FC Augsburg to KSC, but was borrowed in the past twelve to third division TurkGücü Munich. At the FCA, the left-back was almost exclusively part of the second team, his only Bundesliga game completed in March 2018. Also in the 2nd Bundesliga, Jakob made exactly a game so far: in October 2016 for his Jugendverein 1860 Munich. Now in Karlsruhe more should be added.

With Kilian we have found a boy, but still experienced left-back defenders, who will also re-ignite the competition, Kreuzer is quoted in the club message. Jacob himself explains: The responsible persons of the KSC have tried very much around me. I'm glad to be here now, wants to develop me personally, help me to help the team and start a new beginning after my somewhat difficult time in Augsburg.

In Karlsruhe, Jakob is first challenger of the Etatany left-back Philip Heise.
