At Halo Infinite, two important basic elements of the halo franchise will be lacking when it is launch. In a development update launched by the developer 343 Industries, Joseph Staten, the creative chief of the game, announced that Halo Infinite will not have a campaign cooperative mode or forging mode when it launches.

However, both the forging and the campaign cooperative will be added to Halo Infinite, but not immediately. Both functions will take months to join the game after its launch. Cooperative campaign mode and forging mode will be part of the Halo Infinite seasonal route, and campaign cooperative mode will be the first during the second season of the game. According to Staten, the seasons in Halo infinite, as well as the seasons in The Master Chief Collection, will last three months. Forge is scheduled to launch during the third Halo Infinite season.

Halo Infinite has not yet a launch date, but it has a window for this Christmas season. The game will be available at Xbox One, Xbox Series X | S and PC.
