Halo infinite delays another great feature

343 Industries announced this week that it would delay the incorporation of the cooperative campaign to HALO INFINITO when the full game is launch at the end of this year. While this omission was one that bothered fans, 343 promised that the cooperative would continue to arrive a few months after the launch. Unfortunately, this was not the only characteristic of Halo infinite that was revealed that it had been delayed, with another long-standing component of the Halo series that will not reach much later in 2022.

Specifically, that second feature that will be missing in Halo infinite in the launch is Forge. For those who do not know what is Forge, it is essentially a creation tool inside HALO INFINITO that allows players to build their own maps, game modes and other unique features. Forge has been a massive part of the Halo series that goes back to HALO 3, so that it is eliminated here at the launch of infinito is something that has not been well seized by many.

As for when it could reach Forge, 343 Industries said it currently plans to incorporate this aspect in season 3 of HALO INFINITO. For now, it is expected that the seasons last about three months in total for the game. This means that it should be expected that Forge appears in Halo infinity about six months after it finally reaches the shelves of the stores, which means that it seems likely to be published in mid-2022.

While all this is something disappointing, 343 also continued to affirm this week that HALO INFINITO is on track to launch before the end of the year. Although this launch will come at the expense of these aforementioned features that have been delayed, after being originally rejected from its 2020 launch window, I am sure that many fans will be more than happy to play. Halo infinite in any capacity in the coming months.

For now, Halo Infinito still has a large launch window of vacation of 2021. Whenever it falls, it will be launched at Xbox Series X, Xbox One and PC.
