Call of Duty Vanguard: PlayStation
Having officially announced Activision and Sledgehammer Games in the past week the coming first-person shooter Call of Duty: Vanguard, those responsible have also confirmed an exclusive alpha for the PlayStation 5 and the PlayStation 4. Accordingly, from August 27, 2021 at 7 pm to 29 August 2021 at 19 o'clock the game mode Champion Hill will be set to the test.
Each interested PlayStation player can participate in the Alpha Test, normally no PlayStation Plus subscription should be required. In Germany you will probably need a subscription, as Call of Duty: Vanguard is once again no youth release. The Preload can be started at 12 o'clock from this noon.
Eight teams, four areas and just a winner
Champion Hill is a tournament-like game mode with multiple maps and several lives, which should focus on tactics and strategy. The own squad occurs in a lap-based Deathmatch tournament against seven other squads, where you should bring the life points of all opponents to zero to win the game. In the Alpha you can compete in duo and trio squads.
In addition, everyone will start with the same equipment that can be enhanced by collecting cash. Money is obtained by killing opponents and collecting scattered drops. This allows you to buy new weapons, equipment, perks and killstreaks between the combat rounds. The extensive card on which one will play is divided into five sections. In the center is an area of buying stations, while four arenas for the fighting rounds (runway, train station, market, courtyard) are waiting for the players. Furthermore, you can test some weapons in the Alpha and modify them with up to ten essays. In addition, the four main characters (Lucas Riggs, Polina Petrova, Wade Jackson, Arthur Kingsley) will be playable.
